The YT27 will be the 23rd Yhdyskuntatekniikka -exhibition
The first Yhdyskuntatekniikka -exhibition was held in Kouvola 1983. There were 112 exhibitors and 3.100 m2 of exhibition space, 60 % of which was outside. The exhibition attracted 3.700 visitors.
History of the exhibition's organization
An agreement to organize the exhibition was concluded in the spring of 1982 between the Finnish Water Utilities Association (FIWA), INFRA ry and the Finnish Association of Municipal Engineering (FAME). The Finnish Road Association participated in organizing the exhibition for the first time in 1991.
FIWA's staff handled the technical execution of the exhibitions, in collaboration with local trade fair organizers, until 2026. In conjunction with the YT27 exhibition, office of the Yhdyskuntatekniikka relocated to the FAME office. At the same time, cooperation with Jyväskylä Fair Oy has been intensified.
